Emma,
it's nice to be optimistic and show strength of character through these torrid times but you do know that we haven't cat in hells chance of winning on Friday?

It's a case of damage limitation and hope they don't break the 75-0 record
All true, but we didn't have a cat in hell's chance of winning either of our Easter games last year, either.

i to fear a new record is about to be set. 100 points would not suprise me one bit. we are so bad at the moment i cannot see any team in the league we could beat! i followed wigan last time they where in the lower league and i will follow them again if it happens. wigan warriors in the national league isnt a problem its just a set back for the club. people living in africa have real problems! :(
Well put.

Rubbish argument IMO. African poverty and third world debt notwithstanding, relegation for us would be a mite more than a "setback".

You could apply that logic indefinitely, watching us go down with a cheery grin on your face because at least you don't live in a mud hut. What kind of argument is that?

Do not be so narrowminded. Its a mater of perspectiv and what values you hold important to yourself.

You hold the plight of the Warriors above 3rd World issues thats fine. But respect others who hold different values to you as well.

Using cheap jokes is not that funny.

Where have I said that I hold the plight of Wigan above 3rd world issues? My problem is with your lame argument. Of course the performance of a rugby team is relatively trivial compared to many things, but what a stupid comparison!

I would happily see us relegated if it sorted Africa's problems out, but the 2 are totally unrelated!!

Would you use this argument for everything in your life? What if someone smashed your car up? What if your wife died? What if Wigan was hit by an atom bomb? None of these are as serious as the situation in Africa!! :with:

jimmy mate i was mearly pointing out that wigan being religated (if it happens) isnt the worse thing in the world that could happen. this is how they relate to each other they are both problems with no soulution as of yet. was it a stupid comparison or has it put our problems into perspective.
