I'm a bit more sympathetic Geoff, pro players are only human aren't they?
Having said that he doesn't do himself favours in appearing to be well hacked-off most matches.As Basil Fawlty might say;
"Why dont you cheer up for Crissakes??!!"

He makes a couple of real howlers each game, one or more resulting in tries conceded against us. His confidence is low and putting him at fullback may expose his frailtys even more but......

Moran is a no-go and now there's talk of Dallas playing full-back. Both of these players are small in stature, which for me, doesn't help in the full-back position.

That leaves it open to Richards and Ashton... which i don't know, but i wish they would leave them in the full-back berth and stop swapping and changing, it must be very disruptive for the players concerned.

Well I think we should persevere with him. Who knows, he might be a contender for Man of Steel in say, 4 years time! :lol: :lol:

Lol and that Ashton fella is more suited to Union if you ask me, I reckon he'll be in the England squad by the time we get to 2010

Im still unsure about Pat tbh, man of steel in four years time? he's a better chance of equalling Farrell's points record!!!

I like looking back at these threads from 'what we said' - also where is psycho these days the young mucker.

Actually A&L, I spotted a few prolific posters back then who I'd never heard of!

What became of Bear, Fraggle, The Gimble & Jinkin Jimmy?
