Yep, I forst thought we had another Gasnier situation but Bradford went public first and left him little options.

I do think he oculd have been a bit more diplomoatic though and not gone so far as to make it clear Noble was the no. 1 choice in case he didn't come. He oculd have said he was one of four candidates so as not to alienate the others.

I do hope St Nobby hasnt committed career suicide. I am going to send him a stab proof vest so that if he doesnt provide the required MIRACLE and save our necks in Superleague at least he wont die of the backstabbing from DW and ML

i took the time to edit your spelling msitakes on the word could Dave. we all thought that his choice was lam or edwards. then i remember phil clarke throwing in a hint that he may go for noble and soon after boooom............ noble is our new coach.

The only people to mention Edwards were the fans and media speculation. Not sure about Lam, though. Was there anything publically said by the club about him coming back in some capacity? I don't think him being head coach (at least, not without a Director of Rugby above him) was ever on the cards, but I do seem to remember him being the only other person Maurice actually named (as opposed to two top but nameless Aussie coaches who were also apparently in contention).

he isn't experienced enough he needs someone to take him under their wing Brian can't do that at wigan by Raper doing it at the SHARKS
