Chris Ashton has my vote. A young kid with real passion and one of a limited few who can hold his head up. Wagga, Feka, Benny Higham are also trying.

I was going to vote for Ashton. But is it just me, or is his name missing...?

He's filled some huge boots admirably.

I'd say Ashton as well. We always wonder if the kids will make the step up to Superleague, and given that he would have only expected a very limited role this season he has coped with the promotion to first choice full-back very well indeed. That try-saving tackle against the sticks on Friday shows that he's getting the defensive side of his game sorted out (has he been getting specialist coaching perhaps?!) and I don't think he or Gleason look out-of-place this year.

Ashton has many qualitites Radlinski has. Try saving tackles.. positioning with kicks, strength and tackling...

I think the only downside I have seen is his tactics when he has the ball. Someetimes he has an opportunity to make 20 metres from a kick but doesnt seem to know where to run. I think more coaching, ideas about where to find gaps and run into them will do nicely for Chris. No problems though, he's new, young, strong... he'll have a stormer next season!

Lockers by a MILE!!

Fecka started ok but has gone rapidly down hill and has missed half a dozen or so games through injury and plays about 1/2 an hour per game.

How can he be rated higher than players who have competed regularly all season?
I've just listed Lockers in my top three of most disappointing players so far this season.

His form has dipped immensely this season, take that armband off him and give him the chance to concentrate on his own game, which can be brilliant !

agree with the BlackPearl young Ashton is the epitomy of what a Wigan player should be doing no matter if he is a youngster or an established player. He gives his all for that shirt

CHRIS ASHTON for me
Wigan is and always will be a town of Cherry & White
