most south standers aint loyal, they go because its the cheapest seat in the house. I have only sat there once, ever. that was because i had pennies left so I had no other reasonable choice.

I would like to inform you that I have had a season ticket at Wigan since the opening of the Whitbread Stand and fyi they were the MOST EXPENSIVE seats on the ground. There are some folk who prefer to sit behind the sticks and I am one!! The difference in cost for me between a South Stand or East Stand ticket is not great so if I wanted an East Stand ticket it wouldn't cost me much more. How dare you presume!

i sit in the south stand because its unreserved seating i can invite a freind to come along and they can sit along side of me. if i go in any other stand i am sat on chair number 1 and my freind is sat on chair 954 this could be a problem? but i do understand that by going into this stand i am totaly disloyal and am not worthy of any gratitude for my support.

True you do get to choose how much of the game you watch, I sit in the south stand and I have never once left the game early! Actually, it seems like people in the east stand where the ones leaving early the people who leave early at wigan and saints are the ones who just go the game because its wigan and saints.

those of us that sit in the south stand are loyal just because thats wer we sit doesnt mean we arent what difference does it make if anything the south standers give the most support to the lads than anyone iv sat in the west stand and still prefer to sit in the south behind the sticks!

No stand is any more or less loyal or any more or less supportive than any other. We go to games, therefore we're all supportive - and that includes the north stand supporters. If we weren't loyal or supportive of the team then we wouldn't go, no matter where we sit.

What a silly thread this is.

As I said, it's a silly thread for various reasons including the ones you give. People from all stands at all grounds supporting all teams leave early. To pick on any one group is really quite pointless. I don't like people pushing past me to leave early, blocking my view of the game, but I don't ask any such person why they are leaving early, it's not my business.
