There were 10 clubs interested in the UK, we've whittled it down to two now."

Warrington, Bradford and Leeds are thought to lead the chase.
Don't know about my maths, but thats three clubs isn't it?

well here in oz morley's name has been mentioned with us because we have offered him a 3 yr contract he wants to stay at the roosters but they will only offer him a 1 year deal when he wants a 2 year deal.

My dream half abck pairing would be Barret and Burrow next year. Not sure if Burrow would come to the JJB but everyone has to have something to target. I've heard rumours around the time Nobby came to us that Paul Deacon lives in Wigan and would be happy to join Wigan. I'd have Deacon ahead of Leuluai anyday. Deacon would be a realistic transfer and a very good one.
yeah i agree deacon and barret would rip through defenses prob one of best parterships in years if it occurs, and you never know it could.
kiis goodbye tio that happening because i think people are forgetting that he sighned a new 2 or 3 year deal for the bulls, which ended the rumours of him moving to the jjb next season.

youre forgetting little sycho just cause he has a contract don't mean we can't buy him. we'll just have to buy out his contract
Assuming they want to sell. They can just say no, as they did with Johnson. It's different when a player is out of contract: they then have the choice of clubs.

Back on topic. I've posted re Frank Pritchard elsewhere. Also that Barrett had already signed. From the same source I have been told our scrum half next year will be either Luluai (sp) or Deacon.
Sorry for gloating guys but I just had to dig this up from 4th May!!

I guess the difference is Leuleui hasn't had players like Stele Retchless and Jim Dymock doing all the work for him...

and leuleui is more of an organiser than moran and with barrett whose an organiser he'll have more freedom to play off the cuff unlike moran had.

fraggle has it right. Moran just followed Dymock around, Leuluai is a class apart and could become a world class half back. Close to the line he's dynamite, his range of passing is improving, and his kicking game is not far off. I would rather him to play beside Barrett than any other half in SL. If he keeps improving at the rate he has over the last year, he could be Adrian Lam class in no time.

Would that be in his Aus days when he was genuine world class or later when he signed for us?
