Not true, do you ever remember Noble playing two hookers when he had Jimmy Lowes??

I've said all season and last season that Godwin is sharp around the ruck area, but he doesn't seem to have the vision to go with it, he makes plenty of breaks, but he doesn't look for the support like many of the better hookers in the league do. Godwin is a good players who gives 100%, Higham is a class above and also gives 100%. His vision and creativity is of a much higher standard then Godwin's, Godwins breaks and half breaks seem to set up good field position or give the forwards a breather, if Higham makes a break players support him and he is always looking for support, I feel far more confident that something will happen from a break if it's Higham rather than Godwin who makes it.
If ChrisA is for Higham then I am for Godwin since ChrisA is now the only one who thinks TAP was a good coach.

Whilst we are on the subject, if we are going to give the players stupid cricket type/public school monickers (and heaven forbid) then surely Godwin should be Godders not Waggas

Edit note, having read that posting the renaming of Godwin also eliminates any sexual connotation on this family noticeboard

I think that we should keep both players. IMO both are brilliant players who make breaks and have pace from dummy half. I think the only thing that Wagga needs to work on is looking for the support. On two occasions on Fri night he broke the line and he didnt see the support. They are both good tacklers and both have high work rates. I think that we should keep both!

I still think he is a good coach, he did a superb job at Leigh, and a superb job at Saints. It didn't work ou for him or Wigan in his time with us, but we could say the same for plenty of other coaches also couldn't we. Bitterness is a terrible thing Ian, just ask your family, I'm sure they loved you stopping them going watching their club because you dislike the coach.

Agreed, if Cunningham, Higham, Newton and Alker aren't fit.

Both of them are good hookers imo but when higham goes of during a game we ar'nt half as good in attack, look for it against warrington.

But i'd keep them both as i think wagga will improve.

forget terry newton great player but a past player ,now we look like we will be playing sl next year i think it time to open contract deals with him.Him and michael higham work great together ,we all know that our coach is another lover of the two hooker system so if this is the case he as to get this great young hooker signed now especially as mccurum from the u 21s is injured as well
I would keep waga because newton and higham are almost the same in how they play, and waga is always making breaks.
