no one would like to see wigan get to the gf than me but when you were in the position we were in then to talk about the gf is unrealistic, let nobby get us safe this year then we can talk about the gf next year and maybe a double, now that would be dreaming

yep dare to dream dare to dream and all that. i know its not likely but alot of things arnt likely but anything is POSSIBLE even if it isnt probable. if it doesnt happen it doesnt happen but no harm in dreaming

your getting me wrong dont you think i want wigan to get to the gf i just want to get safe first, we are talking as though we are safe well we are not, we have got some tough games coming up and if we finish 10th i will be celebrating like we won the gf cos of the position we were in, i do dream as well you know

To be honest i think we will finish in joint 6th with salford and miss out on points difference, but while watching the team over them last 5 weeks plus the signing of fielden and nobby, i just get this strange feeling that something spectacular is on the verge of happening. As long as we stay safe this season, is all im bothered about, but im still having 20 brick on the grand final

Yes, if you put £1 at 150-1 you would get £150 plus your stake money, so £151.
£2 on = £300 etc....

We don't watch sport to get real, we watch it because it allows us to dream. They said no-one would ever break the 4 minute mile, England cricket wouldn't win the ashes last summer and that it was unlikely that anyone outside the top two would ever win the Grand Final. All are now history. Allow yourself to dream, my friend. There are plenty of other areas in your like where you can 'get real'.
Absolutely right, Flash. For a more on-topic example, how about HKR beating Wire in the CC? Or Fielden coming to Wigan...?
