Rads is the best full back SL era only 2 are better than him in the same period in the NRL.

Lockyer and Minachello.

Wellens is not in this class

debatable. lockyer ahs eben switched around and minichello hasnt accomplished what rads ahs yet. rads by far the best full back probably ever. he is alongside greats and deserves the praise he gets. lockyer is good but rads is praised world wide about his skills and legendary performances at full back. take 2002 for example, murryfield, remember yet?

Minnachello reading of the game is the best.

Stevo had me reaching for the mute button. The debate re; not playing the ball deliberately. Clarke made a very valid point what did Stevo do, shout louder and louder and become hysterical. I thought Klein started to deteriorate as the game progressed and the winning try was definetly a forward pass from Cunningham to Gilmour. No mention from our know it all expert. The Wellens comment was pathetic. I think wellens has a great attitude and never lets anybody down so to speak. I would put him in the class of Keith Mumby, Mick Burke, George Fairbairn. However, he his simply too slow to be world class and too easy to run around. Rads was always better IMO. As for the worlds best, I would go for Lockyer in his early days then Minichello.

Stevo had a point also. If the ball is kicked forward it's play on, if you punch it forward it's a knock on.

But what he did Rob was ignore Clarkes point totally that all these incidents fall under an umbrella of laws covering accidental contact with the ball. I also think Stevo missed the point when the ball went into touch off a players hand. The ball carrier knowing he was going into touch was in the process of throwing the ball anywhere when it hit the hand of the tackler. the tackler whose good defence forced this scenario would be penalised whilst the poor attacker would gain an advantage.

Equally Stevo is a 'flip flopper' Last week he was talking about ball carriers having an obligation to retain possession which is contrary to what he is suggesting this week.

Phil Clarke was arguing that the rule by which:

A hand in a tackle knocking the ball forward isn't a knock on.

was consistent with:

The ball, having been kicked by Team A accidently hits the leg of a player from Team B and goes into touch. Team B get the head and feed.

Stevo said that hitting the leg is different because if you kick it forward it isn't a knock on.

Both Stevo and Phil Clarke were right.

rads is by far the best fullback in super league just for his defending alone. if anyone broke through our line i would put money on rads stopping him. i dont think i would put the same comment about wellens. good player none the less but not on same planet as rads.

p.s kris' scoring record not bad either

Both Stevo and Phil Clarke hate Wigan with a passion! Phil is bitter because we sacked him for a media executive job or something a few years back now. Stevo just hates us becuase we are Wigan! Does anyone else think also think that Wellens is the slowest man in rugby league. One on one with Wellens, most players will go round the outside with ease! Gareth Ellis perfect example last night! I once remember a great quote that Millward made when he was coach of St Helens It went something along the lines of "if Wellens had even a yard of pace he would be one of the best players in the game"
