I was one of the unlucky ones who couldn't get in along with my two kids, but i must praise the woman at the halliwell jones reception cos she allowed us and about 30 or more people to watch it on the telly at the reception and even supplied us with a radio so we could hear what was going on as well. they also fetched about 30 or so bottles of water out for us as well. so many thanks go out to the wolves staff. :D :D :D

How many were locked out? I saw loads going back to their cars before the game but I also heard a lot stayed outside the ground. Estimates were around 500. Does this sound about right?

Sorry to hear you couldn't get in.
it was around that amount mate, the steward insisted on me getting there at 9 oc'clock. this was alos a lie as tickets only went on sale at 12 so how could people buy them at 9? terrible organisation.

Couldn't go today psycho but was wondering all the match if you and your mate had got in. Sorry to hear that you didn't.

Gutted for you Psycho. I do wonder why Wigan have to return the tickets at 3pm Friday. Why not 3pm or 5pm Saturday. After all the tickets only went on sale Sunday. The stand was too full as it was. Seen better Subuetto stadia.

Good - Very hard everybody had a mixed day. Ashton was great, loved the ball steal. Felt he did poor on Wood for his try. Great when Briers broke. The pack. Fecka ran strongly. His flat footedness in defence worrys me a little. Logan ran strongly too. Hock had his moments. Fletcher got better and better as the game wore on. One run was awesome. He dragged tacklers 20 yards. Lockers (Oh no wait for the anti-lockers replies was great). He copped a couple of penalties. He was everywhere in defence and did superbly for his try. The hookers had a great second half. Goodwin was fantastic. We cannot let him go. When Micky returned he was awesome too. i thought Hansen was impressive off the bench.

Bad - Fielden had his worst game for us. Still decent but not at his best. Dobson did not fire as well as he can. Wire targetted him in defence. he had real problems with Gleeson. He made a few unforced errors too. Danny was quieter too. To be fair, individual mistakes kept screwing things up and stopped the halfbacks controlling the game. Tickle is not justifying his place. Not sure if he needed to be anywhere near Sullivan to conceded that penalty too.

Hard to say - McAvoy. I thought he did well bar his cock up on the kick return. I have noticed before that until he gets into the game his handling is suspect at the start of each half. A penalty could easily have been 6pts. Calderwood. Fine, brilliant run to set up Ashton then a lame ass tackle on Grosse. Rads, really struggling in that second half last quarter with a bad leg.

Dallas for me has been carrying an injury for several weeks. It finally went today.

Radlinski struggle? He turned and caught Gleeson...I stood there in amazement. He did look knackered after that though but so would most in that heat.

Pedro that tackle was amazing. However, the struggle I am talking about is exactly that. It brought about an injury. I really hope he is okay. Had he not been injured I think he may well have created a try for Calderwood afterwards. Kris is a legend.

Was a great pass to Calderwood. He was just getting into his stride when he was ankle tapped
