I don't think the ref was too out of order. I think he did need to be a little more harsh at times and have some guts about him though.
As for the result, well I think Wigan just ended the match 20 minutes too soon! In all fairness though, Briscoe had another cracking match and there was some fine play from Lam, Farrell and Graham.
I think we'll see a big improvement before the next match as I don't think Raper was too happy!
