I am a teaching assistant but I certainly hope they didn't come to our school.

If people like this continue, there are legal powers to stop them and you as a moderator should really report these to the Police.

The Telecommunications Act 1984 Section 43 covers the sending of improper messages. Section 43(1)(a) relates to a message, etc., that is grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character"
Maybe by reporting one individual and placing a permanent entry on the message board will warn off others from doing the same.
I must admit, some of the language on here is appalling.

I agree, but I can assure you that if you made one person an example and reported the matter to the Police of offensive, insulting and totally inappropriate use of the message board, I bet it stops.
What people don't understand that the internet, mobile phones etc are all covered under the Telecommunications Act and are reportable Crimes!!
