The accounts are audited in November/December - it doesn't take so long to make a decision. All the other clubs that have been found guilty of salary cap infringements were told before the start of the following season. Had this been the case, we'd have known in February!

not what my source says, all will be revealed this week.

I am sure that if the rumour was true there would be a club statement and the press would be hovering around the JJB like bees around honey.

Psycho, No disrespect but I agree with Geoff N on this. The accounts are posted immediately following the SL season and the RFL make decisions soon after this - to make a decision 10 months beyond the season is highly unlikely.

Incidentally, the RFL more or less confirmed this in a recent post that I made to them re: a certain 2 clubs taking a highly creative approach to the salary cap (!!)

There is no truth in this one! The RFL would come in for more stick that Wigan for finding this or indeed doing something about it so late! I think your source might be winding you up on this one psycho!

Nothing personal Psycho, but unless a 15 year old knows someone very high up in the RFL the chances of you hearing before the press is somewhat unlikely.
I'm not saying you have made this up, just doubt the reliability of the message.
