I thought that the books went for auditing in November? If so, why does it take 9 months to make an announcement.
that is what i was thinking why deducts us now and not before the season started like the nrl have done with nz warriors :conf:
(Again!) The results of the salary cap audit for our competition have always been announced mid-season. For Wakey it was the end of July 2001 (their appeal was heard on 9th August 2001), for Stains and the others it was sometime in May (can't rememember what I wrote on the first of several times I've answered this question in the last day or so...!)
The fact that the results of the audit have always been announced mid-season doesn't make it right.Nobody doubts that we have broken the rules and we should be punished, but to do it at the end of the season,is just not right. There isn't another sport in the world that would do this,a this stage of a season.Everyone should know before the first kick-off just were they stand.

you know the old farts at the rfl ,likre to change the goal post all the time ,just surprised they havent come out yet to tell us there is no relegation for any 1 at the end of the season. But i guess sky wouldnt like that as more nuetrals are more intrested than the bottom, thus keeping there viewing figures up

Spot On ! ... these delayed audit results just point to poor administration. When the season starts every club should know exactly where they stand.
