Well you know what usually happens when we let a young 'un go. They come back and haunt us ( Luke Robinson, Shaun Brisco) and hes got a try in nearly every match he's played for the giants.
Should be a rule so he can't play us. He knows out tatics.
Wish him well but no again us.
I've heard this plenty of times, but how have they come back to haunt us? We've got 2 players in Ashton and Dobson with miles more quality than either of these two will ever have.

It's the old story - we generate far more kids than anyone else, and far more than we can ever hope to keep ourselves thanks to the salary cap and structure of the modern game. Inevitably we're going to have to release some who go on to be great players, the same way that release some who disappear into obscurity/Widnes :) If we had kept Mr Briscoe, he would only this season be first choice full-back, and I don't think he would have accepted that for his career. Neither would the club, who would have probably had to pay him a proper salary despite him being a reserve player. As for Robinson, there was rumoured to be some off-field issues that influenced the decision to let him go, and whilst he was good at Wigan, he never seemed to make the step up to being great. But the management have to make these kind of judgements, we can't keep everyone so they have to look at who will fit into the team plans for the future and act on that.

In Brown's case, he's never shone in any of the positions he's been asked to play, with Trent Barrett coming over he's not going to get any chance to play stand-off, and he's hardly been a success at centre. He may well do superbly for another team, but I think maybe not at Wigan.

The only thing I can say about young mister B is that Millward fancied him, Nobby didn't. Good enough for me.....

Who would you rather we face? Kevin Brown or Chris Thorman?

Also with Thorman on the treatment table it will hopefully put the fear of injury into the rest of the team

Either, they are both over rated.

If he does sign with Hudds for 3 years I'll definitely be glad to see the back of him, and I hope he plays against us on Friday so Feka and Fielden can absolutely smash him to pieces.
