Commotion in the stands

They should be named and shamed, get shut of the lot of them, things like that happen at football matches not rugby league, you can't help but feel sorry for people with children at the game it's disgusting.

I look at it from a slightly different point of few being a teenager who sometimes goes to the rugby with a group of mates, I no that some people do turn up and cause trouble but in my experience at the JJB I found that many people seee teenagers and thugs and their attitude towards the teenagers does provoke violence in some cases when if left alone no trouble would ever start.

I go to rugby to watch the match and have a good time, I usually go with a group of mates and we sing, chant do the stuff that teenage fans do but we keep it clean at all times yet there are people at the JJB who think they have some sort of authority over people within the JJB. Since going I have had people tell me:
- Not to chant
- Not to sing
- Not to stand up after tries
- Not to leave my seat at half time
- Not to wave flags
- Not to have a banner
- Not to lean forward to look at the screen
- Not to boo the referee

People have every right to do any of those things at a rugby match and although I want everyone to enjoy the match, if you can not cope with those things then perhaps a rugby match is not the place for them. I have seen a few people get angry because people have been telling us what we can and can't do and it ruins our enjoyment of the match. Originally there was a group of 8 that went to the rugby now there are only two because the rest have decide that at the JJB fans are not allowed to enjoy themselves and that teenagers especially are all seen a thugs.

It's no wonder that more of the younger people watch Latics because the people there are a lot more laid back.

I know they get a bad press but the lads at the back of the south stand have been superb this season.

Unfortunately teenagers do get bad press these days which makes some people act negetive towards them.

Personally I have seen all sorts of people young and old get involved in fights, arguments etc. Age is not an issue, it comes down to peoples mentality and some people just love to cause problems espically at events with high tension and atmosphere.

Most of the time yes, but last week there was fighting and I saw a lad at half time (must have been no more than 16) had been cracked in the mouth and was bleeding, where's the need for that at the rugby at all?
