Someone tried to convince me that someone who works for the club's auditors had told him that we had gone over the cap by enough to earn a 4 point deduction next season.

He couldn't provide an answer when I said that the SL checked our books before sanctioning the Fielden deal and even told us that we had to offload a couple of youngsters. Quite why the auditors would've been looking at the current year's accounts and also talking about it would be a mystery too.

Most programmes employ somebody to play the role of the loudmouth or to be controversial. Stevo is an idiot and is tiresome. If Stevo gets a few hundred letters a week telling him that he's a clown it is better for them than 20 telling him that he's good at what he does. Maybe he should be asked to name names rather than allude to wrong-doing.

the best i heard from him was when a player made a break and ran down the field for the try, he said 'I'll not take my coat off, cos i'm not stopping!' that one actually did make me laugh cos its so pathetic lol.
