I got a raffle ticket but left before the raffle was drawn, what was the prize?
Money to a good cause anyway.
The match got a mention on the northwest news, with a film clip of the match and spectators, also showed Mike Gregory and his family. Hope he gets better soon.

The first draw was a size 10 rugby ball autographed. Number 200 and something won that. Came away after that.

:D Just a comment. You sometimes get an impression of players etc when they are playing. Today, after the match, they were absolutely amazing, signing autos and having their pic taken. Bobby Goulding in particular was superb with my nephew and Billy McGinty, David Lyon absolute gents.

It was a nice touch to have the junior game on beforehand. Great day for them.

Thanks regarding the winning ticket and prize cpwigan, my ticket was - green 953 - I'm feeling a little better knowing I'd gone and not won, if that makes sense.

Boots'n'all are going to be showing some "highlights" of the day:

"...highlights of the Mike Gregory Benefit match - Wigan St Patricks v Wigan Legends - which included one Phil Clarke who was involved in an 'incident' you won't want to miss hearing about..."

i just read that this fantastic afternoon raised in excess of £22,000!!

AMAZING!!

i think it's fair to say that we often form opinions of players and they can never do right in our eyes, but on sunday afternoon, any egos were left at home, it was a blokes doing what they love, playing rugby, and they were there to show support for a true fighter. Mike Gregory is one of the nicest blokes around and it really brings a lump to the throat when you see what has happened to him!

It's reported that there was 7,000 people there! i'm sure i'm not the only one who thinks it's about time the jjb stadium hosted something for mike, forget what's happened in the past, on sunday fans from all clubs united, put aside their rivalries and showed just how amazing rugby league fans are.

If £22,000 can be raised on a rainy sunday in ince! then i'm sure there is plenty more to come...

he gave wigan rugby league so much effort, let's repay him..

Sadly I doubt Mr Whelan and Lindsay would be able to step onto Clarington Park without jepordising their own safety.

Personally, I do not know what to think BUT I do know the long drawn out legal battle left everybody a loser. As a Wigan / RL supporter I just felt that Whelan could have simply said Mike we do not think you can coach in your present state but we are prepared to help you and try to keep you involved in the club. Here's £250,000 or whatever. It sad that joe public gave Mike more on that Sunday than Wigan did prior to the tribunal. If Whelan can waste millions upon the Latics he could surely have done far better by Mike.

you don`t happen to know all the winning raffle ticket numbers by any chance, as we had to leave and missed the draw. P.s we had a great day as well. good to see so many there
