My definition of a good loose forward is a ball handling go forward player, a player with vision who can score and/or put in a splitting pass or a great of load. As far as tackling goes that is bread and butter.
Is Lockers this person?
No!

Thought he was mediocre at best, never saw him go for the legs once, still goes high, nothing special

Seems you have something personnaly agaisnt Lockers.
Even at international level in a game where containg the opposition is vital almost as important as scoring you have a dig.
He was awsome today.

My first ever post! Been a guest for long enough. Lockers great in defence our top tackler Ellis then Lockers. However didn't make top 10 on field in metres made or carries (sky stats). Got a soft spot for this Wigan lad. Great player but not a 13.

I think what people need to realise is that a PACK of forwards is just that a collective group. It is the way they fit together that is important. Every forward in the Aussie pack is a great forward in their own right. Collectively there is something missing. Lockers fits the requirements of the GB pack very well. His mobility and workrate are vital cogs in the forward machine.

Are you and Medlocke having a laugh? You both can't believe what you write, you must be on a wind up.

sadly every year we seem to have a section of people who decide they don't like a player and from that moment on everything they do will not be good enough.
whilst i do not think he is world beater at the moment, i think he was prety lucky to be on the tour on the back of last season, his performance yeserday was pretty good.

Problem with Lockers is he is no Andy Farrell.
Then again who is.
Apart from Paul Sculthorpe there is no better Loose forward in SL at the moment. Yes he lacks something going forward.
But as a side we lacked a lot going forward for a great deal of time last season. Defencivly hes the best player around. Goes high on occasion but the amount of tackle he makes and not just stopping the man but in delaying him and just making a niusance at the play the ball is good to watch.
To people who do not understand the above message.
He can slow the play the ball down and hold up play without giving penalties away.
