...he also mentioned how Godwin has doubled his wages at Hull. .
Which simply means we were not able to accommodate two hookers in our 20/20 and pay them a proper wage whereas Hull have both Swain (1st choice) and Godwin (2nd choice).

The way I see it, the only way this move can be justified is if we have some major signing still to announce, and we had to clear space for it.

But I'm not holding my breath.

Wigan cleared out space for Barrett and Fielden, and with reports of DV being ona huge wage I can't see Wigan having much salary cap to play with.

Millward might be the only hooker Wigan could find with SL experiance who will play for the limited amount of money that Wigan have left.

PS. This is theory not fact for those people who struggle to tell the differance between the two.

Withers will definitely make the starting 13 and Millard the 17 every week they are fit.
Where do you think Withers fit's into the first 13?

Personally Rob I'm not convinced he does fit in but I have heard from 2 sources that the plan is to play him at fullback with Ashton on the wing. My personal view is that this was contingent in us offloading Pat Richards, but this doesn't appear to be happening. However, I expect Withers to start and Ashton will have to scrap for a place with Calderwood, DV, Bailey, McAvoy and Richards.
