Part of the problem might be that the club doesn't actually own much footage itself. It's all filmed by Micron, and I tihnk Sky retain ownership for some of the feeds they get from Micron for the games they cover. For Wigan RL to make a video and post it on YouTube or similar, they would need to buy that work from Micron. I don't see that as being a problem myself, I'm sure the two organisations could work out a sensible deal, although perhaps the fact that Micron decided not to release a 2006 Season Review might suggest they would want a decent amount of money for allowing their films to be used?adrenalinxx posted:
I think that the club should use things like youtube and Google videos to their advantage, some companies have already started using it as subtle advertisement. If Wigan actually had a few short but good videos for Wigan made then it would be a big advertisement for Wigan Warriors and rugby league also I think that it would be a great tribute to Kris.
