Chris I understand completely what you are getting at but I still believe that rugby league needs the Sky coverage, to say nothing of the cash, it helps promote the greatest game on earth to people who would not normally get the chance to see it. Even from our own point of view not all Wigan fans live near to the town and even if Sky pulled the plug tomorrow I can't see the armchair supporters rushing back, we would also miss out on seeing the nrl matches. We need a good marketing department at the JJB and someone with a brain cell that will not die of loneliness to sort out special deals for youngsters/attractive family packages/decent pre match entertainment/bonuses for regular fans etc like they have done at other clubs but sadly the club don't seem to listen to our views and still troll along thinking the fact that we are probably the most famous rugby league club in the world will be enough. We do need Sky but we also need someone with a bit of Umph on the management side of the club

great quote by chris;' they come out for the glory matches' this was shown on good friday against saints and it was great to see but we shud see atleast half the amount of wiganers at a game against halifax but you can bet everything if we get saints in the final eliminator at JJB it will be a sell out.
theres only 1 team in wigan
