If you mean me, someone asked why Flanagan wasn't on the bench so I explained what I heard heard that may shed light on that particular selection. I suppose it would have clearer to quote the original posting, Dave O style.
It's only a matter of time, Jimmy .....
The RL Kid has only just joined us and may not yet have been exposed to what you call "Daveo style".
Too true. You can run but you can't hide, Kid.

I think the bench mixes youth and experience and probably reflects what we'll see in "proper" games (but with only four of them then, of course). Once the real business of the season starts I don't think Nobby is the kind of coach to pack the bench with untried youth - I think he'll go for the experienced players with maybe one youngster each game getting a spot - probably O'Carroll and Prescott alternating initially.
Goulding is already one of my picks to make a real impact this year, but his opportunities may be limited until injuries kick in (and they always do at some point). The lad has a lot of talent and a great attitude, and I think he'll make it as a centre with Wigan.
I just can't wait for the season to begin! The weather forecast is shocking for Sunday but unless the motorway is actually shut, I'm going.

i don't think the bench looks too bad, DV if fully fit might surprise a few people this year.

i agree but i dont think he is bench player either, he is going to bring no impact off the bench and offiiously there to make sure withers doesent die of exhaustion, he was awwsome for parra and thats why we signed him but its gone down hill from then on. I reckon we shud loan him to another club or get rid of him.
