Green, Barrett is class but he may be wasted. Lockers is working is behind off too. Feka looked better at times tonight.

It is not the coach BUT the players

The only trouble was that the times were the first 16 minutes, the 10 minutes after half time when he looked fearsome and then the last 4 minutes. having a 30min prop forward however eyecatching is going to do us in paticularly when we only have one other adult prop.

 How bad we were can be shown by Feka being given man of the match when he played less than half of it why can't he stay on longer?Absolutely gutted by tonights performance (or should that be lack of it for the most part)

cpwigan you may remember in my tireless campaign to get rid of TAP last year the man I wanted at the JJB was Justin Morgan after what he had done with Toulouse v Widnes and then KR v Wire in the cupgames.
Tonight KR came out with a game plan, MrsB even said on the way home that she watched them in the warm up (whilst I was eating a pie that cost £1 14shillings for Gods sake!!) and they were even better organised in the warm up. They did have a scrum half who absolutely killed us in the first have with the best complete repetoire of kicking I have seen for 10 years and an almost completely error free game, I counted one in the first half and 2 perhaps 3 at the very most in the second half, difficult to beat a team that is that well drilled and oh yes we were hammered by a team that only had 13 players on the pitch for 60 minutes. Having seen the match report on the first 28 minutes of the Stains performance perhaps we should just give thanks that it was 'only' KR were playing in that first half, I liked the suggestion from 1 supporter as we came across the Canal that not only should they not be paid for tonight but that they should also play for free next week when of course we are playing London who last week thrashed KR at Hull

CP

I agree 100%.

Nobby is a class act & we should be grateful he came. Had it been any other club except Wigan trying to poach him in the position we were at last season then they would have failed. Simple as.

Though I often wonder why a coach who built his reputation playing a power game with a huge pack like he did now seems content with a few 20 minute wonders, the "best forward in the world" who doesn't seem interested anymore & a handful of fat kids with their stupid haircuts who'd look more at home propping up the bar in The Bowling Green than on a rugby pitch!!!

I agree Ian re KR. They were very well drilled and their formation when they had the ball was excellent. Every player was pushing forward so the ball carrier could not be targeted. We rightly harried their scrum half when he was kicking but he always had their stand off and later Gene as alternative kickers. It is not as if KR are anything special and their players are not out of this world BUT they worked as a team and knew what they were doing.

We look like we do not even train.

I think we have to give Nobby a chance and stop the bickering .The same thing happened at Bradford a few seasons ago they had a bad start to the season and went on to win the Grand Final
