I think we should drop ashton from the 1st team for a couple of week and play him in the under 21nz. it would be better i think.

Whilst I think he's playing poor, he's by no means the only player underperforming. Is it not just a case of with him being fullback his frailties are magnified?

Correct, Rob, and he had no support from either winger to counter what was a pretty good kicking game by KR. OK, that early slip was a blunder, but it was in a position Calderwood should have been covering; similarly the sloppy 40-20 we conceded was down to Richards, not Ashton.
There were a lot worse than Ashton on the pitch last night.
