does anyone actualy think he will stay at our club because we sing songs about him? if union are offering him a hundred grand a year more than we are he wont be to botherd about the songs.

I think just not calling him during the match and then not slateing him on here afterwards would please him more than a song.
I saw him at the snooker recently and he seems a nice enough lad and wasn't at all loud or big headed.
Maybe if we left him alone he may just carry on from where he left off last season.
..and heres me joining ina topic about him :conf:

I'm really still hoping he will stay but it is seeming more like desparation with the volume of folk on here and the other board who think he is leaving us. Not a happy state of affairs if the lure of the ££££££££'s has been too much for him.
Maybe he will sing to us - Wish me luck as you wave me goodbye!

OMG, The Lad has turned round and said that he is willing to let the offers come in, and then he will make his mind up. He hasnt even been offered a Wigan deal and depending on his performaces this year his deal might not be as good as he would have liked. (second year syndrome), lets just hope he does stay, but lets not castigate the Lad before any contracts have been put infront of him, I would blame Maurice for not improving his deal at the end of last year as we could have got him on a long deal then, maybe not now the union offers are coming in.
just a thought! How many people on here would like to play an easier game with the propect of playing for your country in a game that is dedicated to international rugby for an extra 100,000 and odd grand a year. I would like to see the people in charge of our game make it undesirable to switch codes and the only way that will happen is if we can pay our players more and give them the international stage they crave. So lets not blame the lad but the system thats stops us from keeping hold of him.. thats of course if he does go... which I personally doubt!
