It's funny how often in RL a suspension lasts only until an important match!!
It does happen a lot doesn't it.

If that is what happens here you have to wonder what the point is. Clearly it would mean the club doesn't think they can do without him for big matches or long term and the punishment has been tailored to fit that rather than the crime.[/i]

My concern for JB if and when he returns is how he will be treated by his fellow players will they stick by him or send him to coventry ie THE CLIQUE

I find it incredible that some fans think that Wane, Lenagan and Radlinski would leave out/suspend (chose for yourself) a player who has been Wigans best this season without a very good reason.

Brian, I find it incredible that it seem some fans don't think.

Your concern for JB? What clique?
Someone posts a rumour about there being a clique and now with absolutely 0, zero, zilch evidence of there being such a thing we now have one!!!
Rumour has it Mossop stayed SW, Jesus wept, conspiracy theories running wild here!!!

So what if he did, didn't? I'm 100% sure that won't have a single bearing on the outcome of what has happened.

JB has done what he's done, I'm sure he will be treated fairly and in line with club policy.
I hope it's been blown up and is t as bad as I've heard, but if it is I hope he just like every other player is treated fairly and justly irrespective.of of they are someone's favourite player or if they are one of our best players.

On another note many are not happy that Mossop is not suspended along with Bateman because it takes two to tango. Note Mossop didn't play well again last night and dropped a bog standard pass while going for the line, poor play.
Who are the "Many"?

And his performance last night has absolutely nothing to do with Any disciplinary or action resulting from the events of 2 weeks ago.
And his or anyone else's punishments shouldn't be determined by their performances etc.

Ps
He was ok last night, and it wasn't a "big standard pass".
You can see agendas seeping out of some posts.

How big can you make that "if" Dave?
If the club sack him are you going to criticizes them for thinking that they can do without him for big matches and then criticizes them if lose because they are wrong?

Top line, they will have suspended him based on legal advice, discussions with player, agent and I don't doubt the players union.
The rest will follow correct guidelines however much it doesnt fit in with their agendas. (And you can think I'm aiming that at you or you can take it that I'm aiming it at a lot of people).

I thought that the Cas match would be his fourth game.

I totally agree that Mossop would have played his part but IF Bateman took the violence to a whole new level then clearly the punishments should not be the same!! Maybe if it was just fists being used they both would still be playing currently!!

It was Shaun Wane's parents Lee stayed with. They were a "host family".

The club have many of these "host families" in the area & are always asking for people to help with young lads from other areas to give them a home from home environment.
