man 1 should have been reprimanded for being a big shit stirring tosser who started the whole problem, a 2 game ban would have been good enough imo
Exactly

I am 100% sure no weapon was used on a person. So that part is not true.

The whole thing is hypothetical and based on the many rumours that where flying around at the time

So why would a poster come up with such a "Hypotheical" situation then?
Possibly to try and again stir up some Anti Player 1 feeling at every single opportunity they can?

Josie, I was only saying what I was told and for the record I doubted what was said. your comment is what I wanted to hear as confirmation that the whisper was indeed rubbish.

However, what do mean by 'why should the victim be suspended' when by your earlier comment, the club is helping him to sort himself out?
But you're normally the first to criticise people do spreading rumours...
You are right, but because of the serious nature of the incident, I only said it to see if it was correct and as a result I got the answer that Bateman is training with the other players which is what I and others wanted to hear.

If he is training and socialising with the team, well, that's very encouraging. When I heard the severity of his sentence and NO police action I immediately thought it was to ensure he didn't have a record which would stop a move to Australia,(Apparently a criminal record is not mandatory any longer) and then go in the shop window for the last few games of the season. It appears that this isn't the situation now and he'll be back with a bang against St Helens.
