Frustrating that the red card decided that game. It was never a red card. Initial contact was with the ball. Lewis' chin is above Shorrocks' shoulder at all times. If there is any slight contact it's because the force of the hit makes his head go forward initially. If there's any contact above the chest it's slightly to the neck, not the head. Terrible decision that changed the game.

It was shoulder to shoulder and whiplash, he stays down and surprise surprise Thaler says he should be sent off, a complete jock
It wasn’t shoulder to shoulder though. He hits his head, plain as day.
Absolute bollocks

Wigan had the opportunity to win it despite that and so I expect them to be smart enough to take it but this team and coach are not.

You're not wrong there Nathan
Rubbish. This year our defence is letting us down Briers had nothing to do with that.
We are poor in attack and defence and the buck stops with Peet. If Field or French don’t pull something out of the hat he has no clue about tactically outsmarting the opposition. Wigan currently play the game one one way and have no idea when the going gets thought what to do.
You said this under Lam as well. And Wane sane old comment different coach.

We did change tactics we tried expansive until shorrocks went off then afterwards didn't.

I get this French or field line as well every team has one or two key player they build the team around.

For saints it's welsby and Lomax and if they don't create anything saints suffer.

Makinson a brilliant winger but he never makes something from nothing
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Agree the fact we beat a better Warrington team with 12 for longer in the last round proves that’s not a defining factor and it’s not as if shorrocks is a key player - I get the energy toll but that is easily overcome most teams will train a man down

it would be good to see it again, but from what was observed there was no contact with the head.

also why were so many high shots ignored if there is supposed to be such a push on direct contact to the head
