I only live 11 miles from Widnes, as opposed to 24 from the JJB, so it's handy for me on that basis. As long as they'll post a ticket out to me, I'm fine.

Doesn't stop me being outraged though. This could be the thin end of the wedge if Whelan can stop us playing there any time it suits him.

Wigan have been given both side stands (North & South). They are selling tickets for the North stand first.
They also have the West Stand behind the posts.
The opposite end (East Stand) has been reserved for Bradford fans.
I reckon that will give us 10,500 - 11,000 tickets.

Stand info is on the official site.
North (side stand) being sold first nd then south (other side) if this one sells out (which it bloomin well should).
Tickets for the game will go on sale to Season Ticket Holders only from 9am on Tuesday morning (9th September) with remaining tickets released for General sale from 9am on Wednesday morning.

Season Ticket holders will receive a 20% discount on match ticket prices for the game and there is also a special discounted Family Ticket at £35 for two adults and two children for the North Stand. Both of these offers are only available in advance until Thursday at 5pm.

The Club will offer free coach travel to Widnes from Wigan for any Warriors fans who book match tickets before 5pm on Thursday. Fans must though confirm their booking with the Ticket Office at the time of purchasing their match ticket. The Coaches will depart from Car Park 3 at the back of the East Stand.

Wigan Warriors Season Ticket Holders (in advance until 5pm on Thursday)

NORTH & SOUTH STANDS (these are located down the touchlines / slides) – Unreserved Seating (Please note that tickets will be sold for the North Stand first)

Adults £14
Concessions £10
WEST STAND (this stand is located behind the goal) – Unreserved Seating.
Adults £12
Concession £9

I'm going for the north and will be on the phone first thing.

I personally blame in this order:

1. Dave Whelan (because he is the owner - behind the subterfuge, of JJB and has demonstrated his arrogance and crassness for all to see)
2. SKY (for their intransigent and obstinate refusal to alter any scheduled tiddly-winks competition for one of their biggest possible RL sports TV broadcast of the season)
3. RFL (for cow-towing to the SKY schedules under the guise of "competition integrity rules" - are these the same bunch of shysters who let Hull play an unregistered player for 3 games on their way to a CC final!!!
4. Maurice Lindsay (and his incompetent bunch of boardroom staff who didn't for one second think that Wigan could/should/will ever get a home play-off tie)
5. Ian Lenighan (ditto above after the take-over)
6. The Premier League (if there is such a thing as a 48 hour rule)

I have too say, that the pathetics are a minor annoyment - the "real" culprits for this mass stupidity and betrayal of the Play-off system are named above.

we are going and at least 6 of my mates going.
I am still annoyed at the situation but i'm not taking it out on our lads.
The basic ar$es in the matter are Whelan, sky and the rfl.
Really hope we beat bradford, and that Footy lose on sat, that will be more embarassing after all the fuss.
As for disruption to game we only lower ourselves to their level
Hit him where it hurts most in his pocket, try to avoid purchasing stuff at the stadium and in any other way.
come on wigan.
