Hock to Parramatta?

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

I am seriously considering NOT renewing for next season unless IL has an ace replacement up his sleeve, which I very much doubt he has.

IL ???

Bit over despondent. He's a Wigan fan AND a successful businessman. I don't think Lockers will ever play for another team. The terms of Sam's last contract made it obvious he wasn't here forever but built in a sizeable return when he goes. We may lose H for nothing unless he signs another contract but Micky and Moose should bring a return.

As for Moran, I reckon Leneghan can match him for wherewithal, he just refuses to buy success outright. It doesn't work, as Warrington's last 57 years bears out!

No player is 100% tied to a club. I sat listening to Lockers tell a packed hall of students that if Wigan were relegated he and most others would leave. Thankfully, we avoided relegation.

Of course he would. He wouldn't have been able to pay his mortgage otherwise. I also recall Trent Barrett saying he would still come even if we were relegated. His wages would have used up our entire cap meaning everyone else would have to play for nothing.

Great player, BAD signing!

Was Hock missed when he was banned during seasons 2010 and 2011 when we won the Grand Final and the Challenge Cup?

For me, Ryan Hoffman was just as good, if not better!

What a silly boy you are Jimbo

Lets take your stupid post

This whole thread was mere rumours / gossip

ERM  No

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=garet ... =firefox-a

TAKE your pick

UMPTEEN reports stating Wigan and Parra negotiating over Hock - STATEMENTS OF FACTS JIMBO NONE OF YOUR HALF BAKED LUDICROUS STATEMENTS Wake up for heaven sake. You know nothing about RL and cannot even research news correctly.

Better of running a school tuc shop

Even better joined by the odd loser like Medlocke. Who reminds us that I correctly stated Phelps was not good enough for Wigan. Is he playing for us? NO Why not post as Baked Bean and wave your Ah Van flag.

If I post something I post what is correct AND oddly it is and nearly always has been. Not keen on people posting garbage so I correct them on behalf of people who actually know what is going on.

IL has achieve far more than I ever will or could, likewise all of us. Does that mean he is perfect? he walks on water? 2012 has been less than a perfect season for Wigan RLFC Moreover, the sport itself I think most people would agree is going backwards rather than forwards.

Nevertheless, I daresay the opportunity for a couple of online muppets to attempt to make themselves look even more stupid by amazingly crawling from under their rocks to attempt and fail badly to have a dig at myself will amuse some folks. Water off a ducks back.

I prefer to focus on the club / sport I follow :hehe:
And where does it say he has signed. Can't find that bit. I can read. I know it is a topic of conversation around the world. I acknowledged that. It is the pushing and shoving I was referring to. You post so many double negatives you will always be right. You always seem to leave a get out clause. You again fail to justify your attack on IL. Where is the evidence to back your attacks. Many flowery words so I expect off season depression is setting in again.

Jimbo this is a thread for intelligent people.

I have said repeatedly Hock has not signed

Last night Hock was STILL a Wigan player

The interest in Hock is genuine AND CONFIRMED not rumour or gossip as you ludicrously alluded to.

I added IF IL/Wigan gets £200,000 from Parra, Hock can go.

What is so difficult for you to understand?

The figure I heard mentioned was nearer £300,000 and considering what we paid out for Fielden, I'd say its a lot more realistic!

Well given the rules stated all the players became free agents and all contracts were null and void when a club got relegated he couldn't have been tied to the club on his existing contract even if he wanted to be.

I don't think that is comparable to the situation where players are contracted to a club for 3 or 4 more years that finished top pf the league

Given the salary cap in NL1 was £300K in total at the time was there anyone who expected him to stay on?

That is why in 2006 I was doing my nut about the possibility of relegation in the face of some bonkers posts about "It might be good for to the cup to go down and start again".

Relegation meant the destruction of the team and all those players like Lockers and Hock who the club produced being lost to it with nothing the club could do about it. That is not the same situation as we face here.
