Good Luck Latics!

Got anything else on your mind that isn't about the Warriors? If you do, this is the place to post.

Absolutely. Hard to fathom their league position on that evidence. They played City of the park.
That's the thing about cup games as Warriors have found to their cost on several occasions.... :(

Quote from Dave Whelan:

"You cannot describe what it feels like when you get hold of that FA Cup. Now we want Wigan rugby league team to come here and lift the Challenge Cup, and then both the cups are in Wigan!"

It is a timely reminder that no sports games are won on paper. Hull KR is not a forgone conclusion.

GREAT DAY for Wigan and the Latics!!!

They did the same to Latics earlier in the season but Latics were all over them & Man City scored at the end of the game.

So chuffed for them :)
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I think that's what we all want now Dave. Both trophies side by side at the DW! :)

Amazing!!!!!! On the coach back now with my friends, what a superb win. We have shouted, danced and had tears of joy between us. The afternoon started well knowing Leeds had been knocked out of the Challenge Cup. What a day it has been! Well done Latics, great achievement and a truly wonderful day had by all. Hope you avoid relegation and stay in the Premier League. Fingers crossed now for a win at HKR tomorrow when we are on our travels again. :eusa2: :D

I had BBC five Live on the radio before in the car. They got a minibus of Wigan fans on to ask them about the match.

Then the BBC guy says "what are you going to do tonight"?

Reply, "get piss3d!"

BBC guy "we apologise for the bad language but it was quite funny!"
