Hope some lessons have been learned, think the coaches and players have got the chairman out of a big hole there with that win.
One thing I don't understand is, this could have all been sorted out last Monday, it was obvious the pitch was not great, the weather forcast for later in the week ( Doris ) was not good, Widnes obviously wanted to play us ( recovery time )the football didn't want us to play, they were in the press early in week complaining about the pitch.
We had a fan survey last season, any lessons been learnt from that.
This situation is going to happen again , cup games playoff games, I have not checked the rest of the football home games for this season,
I just hope that IL, DW Stadium company, Mr Sharpe get round the table and come up with a future plan to avoid this shambles happening again.
Well done Widnes for sorting things out
Well done the players
Well done the fans who were able to get there

So what are the RFL going to do? Deduct Wigan RL points over a decision they didn't have any control over?
On the other hand. Who gave Wigan RL a home fixture the week Wigan Ath are at home? That was the problem.

Here is a bigger issue who gave us 3 games at home after each other. RFL knows we have an issue and they should have scheduled either Widnes or Leigh for away to ensure we have no pitch issues or at least give the time for the pitch to be sorted for June.

RFL are in the wrong but not nearly as who ever called the game off at the DW is.
