Riddell

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

After seeing recent sudden signing of Paul Deacon and the story in the WEP that Leului is to play a bigger hooking role, plus the comments by Maguire about the fitness of Riddell, I think that there is something going on.

I understand that Riddell has recently got married. Could it be that his wife does not want to come to this country.

Why has the club never issued a statement scorching the rumours about him not coming back.

Prehaps other supporters can throw some light on the matter?

He has arranged new living accomodation here WW so I would think that it is likely he is returning. Let's hope when he does return the new set up can transform him physically.

Riddell is back in the country tonight/tomorrow morning.

Seen him mention it on twitter(aswell as him saying he's not looking forward to the Haigh Hall Hill runs and the cold).

Riddell has lost about 2 stone in weight as his training has changed and he is doing a lot of swimming to compensate for the training that he cant do.Noble would just let him sit out the training but not our new coach.

From what I've been told he's got a back &knee problemso he cant train for long periods. Noble used to let him sit out a lot of the training were as Maguier has got him doing things that doesn't cause him problems. Hopefully we might see a big improvement in piggy this season.

When Piggy arrived his knee was a mess. He only lasted 20 minutes with Mike Forshaw in his early training sessions. Let's hope he has lost weight and is fitter for 2010 because the 2009 version could not play for 80 minutes if required.

Its 42 years now since Grace Johnson made a honest man of me but if memory serves me right just having got married will lead to more not less back problems for Riddell

And knees

A certain famous winger for our club used to say (jokingly of course) "Women weaken knees"!
