Wouldn't be so sure on one of those wingers pal. He is out of contract as currently stands, his club claims he has a contract for 2022 but it is to be activated by the player. The player has not yet activated the extra year.

I was shocked at the figure quoted in the Australian press for his wages..850k isn’t it or some number but then remembered the exchange rate it’s a lot less
Still a chunky amount though, £447410.68p according to the google

Wigan wont touch the 450k mark obviously. But they are willing to go above the 300k mark. Its length of contract that will be the key.
I personally cant see it happening but Wane I mean Wigan desperately wants him

Luke Thompson is not worth a contract that large, its not like he's been ripping the NRL up for years like the Burgess brothers.

Luke Thompson is not worth a contract that large, its not like he's been ripping the NRL up for years like the Burgess brothers.
He’s worth a Marque slot in my opinion, Not really fussed what he earned. Like I said 2023 they are planning or were planning to go big. Maybe willing to have a higher wage bill again….
