I don't recall Hock being left out of any cup final team but around that age, I remember him going missing from the club for a reason which was a bit of a mystery at the time and the then chairman Maurice Lindsay on his re-appearance giving him a chance to play again for the club.

He wasn't in the Final 17 in 2011 but quite rightly by Madge went with players who worked all year for that - Hock had only been back a few weeks, was only fair.


So, Hock wasn't really injured then, just a story to keep Hock away from playing in case a club wasn't found in time.

Why create a story like this which is false? Unprofessional.
