Yes you're right, thats why all the discussion is taking place in the Rumour Mill forum. I was nothing if not speculative and I honestly think the genesis of this runour means this is a more robust rumour than some we see, otherwise I wouldn't have read so many posts about it.
I get that you may not want to make speculative comments, but I'm not sure why others can't. Though I have no axe to grind with you and I guess we'll see your opinion when/if some offical news breaks, which is fine too

Its getting a bit embarrassing now. The fact that 'Wigan have refused to comment' is becoming bigger news than the deal itself!

FYI Peter Lupton TURNED DOWN the chance of a contract from Cas in fave of a job at Selafield provided by Workington Town and a part time contract

One thing about this episode; Wigan RLFCs policy of dealing with such stories has gone pear shaped. Previously, the edict was 'we do not comment upon rumours' now seemingly that is no longer the case given the response of I.Harris. Irrespective I think Wigan RLFC are poop at releasing information and it is more policy than the staff concerned.

Posted this on the main board as well it's a done deal 3.5 years the Sale coach was on radio Manchester tonight and said he had signed for Wigan and wouldn't be with them next season.
