I have seen things online from people close to Luke Thompson and his family implying it’s a load of rubbish he wants to come back

I don't want to speak for Dan but no, he said the "secret" signing isn't a needle mover whereas Thompson would be. I thought it would be some squad player but I don't know how highly Dan rates Jake Wardle to see him in that bracket.
If the 2023 recruitment is Cooper, Thompson, Wardle AND this "secret" signing then I'm chuffed to bits.
