Tis what I was thinking but I can't figure out whether GV really is some sort of troll or what so I couldn't be bothered even replying to the comments. I know lots of scousers, and most are proud of being called scousers (for whatever reason) so I don't believe it to be racism at all which is why I'll continue to call them scousers, and yorkys yorkys just like I'll be continued to be called a pie eater and will also continue to take it all in good humour rather than get all sensitive and take people to court over it, which is the way this ****** country is goin at the mo.superleague posted:dont be soft its only banter you dont hear us pie eaters whinging well were called that :sly:GreenViagra posted:
Please desist, otherwise I will be personally offended ! I am very proud of my regional accent ( Liverpudlian ) and wish to feel welcome at the JJB.

Stains are scousers and Wigoon are pies, period.

Re: Maybe a Protest
I sympathise with GV, we should not be stooping so low with all the 'scouser' rubbish.
'Liverpudlian' is far more polite.
And what's this 'Staines' thing mean that I keep seeing?

Be warned it is racism and politically incorrect. Why do you think that Police force are not allowed to refer to Liverpudlians as S------s !
I expect Rugby fans not to be tarred with the same brush as uncouth football fans.

We're not all bad.uncouth football fans.
As Mrs Lam said, you just accept the names you're given, e.g. I've accepted both "pie eater" and "Manc". Loads of 'Liverpudlians' really don't mind, as I don't mind being called a pie eater/Manc. Get over it.

FYI racism exists in other areas apart from just football, but what you are saying is complete PC crap. Are you actually claiming to be offended? And if you are, so what? We all get things thrown at us all the time. Stop drinking yoghurt and get a life.GreenViagra posted:

A spelling mistake, which a common affliction amongst rugby fans trying to have a bit of banter. Primrose n Blue also suffers from it when referring to us as "Wigoon". It's perfectly normal and harmless. And what's this 'Staines' thing mean that I keep seeing?
