If anyone has done the quoted with Goulding, own up now?!!
Yeah... because the above comments are made by someone who likes to express their opinion! hmm All I see from the above is a deliberate attempt to undermine my opinion because it doesn't agree with yours.
That is why I told you to "Grow up" and not because I didn't agree with your previous comments.....

i do not know of any move made by any Aussie clubs for the guy. i only know of roumer. i was hoping you could point me in the direction of some solid evidence. your argument was helped by the claim he was one of the few touted by Aus. mine was that i knew of only roumer so maybe he wasn't AS good as you and others say he is. that ofcourse is your opinion.
and re Goulding, i dont take note of EVERYONE's comments and compare with previous ones to notice anyone who has contridicted them in your explained method. i was asking can anyone own up to doing so?
anyway, the sooner we find out if he has or he hasn't the better. i'm thoroughly bored with it now.
even if we bring him in, Noble has to divert from 5drives and a kick to a style that gives him the ball as a centre to be able to do somethin with him (that the Aussies would like)

The same can be said for any signing..
Trent Barrett was a similiar age to Gleeson when he was signed to Wigan.
Barrett was and still is world class.
If Gleeson was so highly rated by the Aussies he'd already have been signed up. It was Gleesons' wish, I am led to believe, who wanted to play in the NRL not the NRL wanting Gleeson.

that was my opinion also
when i read the Barrett bit, my thoughts were:
Barrett/Gleeson
Barrett/Gleeson
Barrett/Gleeson
some difference for me. i would gladly eat my words if he signed and led like 'The Lord' did!

The point I made about Barrett was that he was a similar age to Gleeson when he signed and that shouldn't be a limiting factor in signing him.. I know their is a gulf between Barrett and Gleeson just as there is between Goulding and Gleeson..
I don't know of any approaches either.. but to have your name Branded ;O) about surely says something... (Plus I have watched him and think he would be a good signing)... and like you say Bowltun.. assuming we can use him effectively!.. Players like Gleeson don't come up for sale that often and you have to grab them when you can!!
I just see the same comments everytime I come on messageboards were people bash players(I know previosuly Goulding has been victim to this) and I thought it was funny the shift in opionion(as a whole) on this guy. I don't like getting rid of Wigan Lads, but if they ain't showing much signs of being any better then decisions have to be made... I personally would have got rid of say phelps instead but Warrington might not want him.

my personal opinon on Goulding is that he hasn't been givedn a fiar crack by Noble. he's always the first to be dropped!
a run of 10 games in the first team would see him develop imo!

In my opinion, I haven't seen any young player improve that much since entering the first team while nobby has been in charge.. This is one of my reasons for calling for a fresh coach..
In my opinion, if Gareth Hock had been under Daniel Anderson or Tony Smith at Leeds he would have been thouroughly world class by now... he is good don't get me wrong.. I love watching Hock.. but the promise that lad had at 17-18 was as much as it is for Tomkins now.
