Good business for the club and indeed the game. We get the money and others get a better player.
Nothing wrong with that as long as we make the right decisions on who to keep and who to let go.
We didn't "sow" anything. It has never been any different in that money always talks. RU was amateur and an RU player turning pro could only do so by switching to RL. That wasn't our fault and we should not have to hold our tongues when expressing our displeasure at RU signing our best players because we were once able to sign the amatuer games best.cpwigan wrote:
