35 years is time enough to put down roots,maybe they ran before they could walk,but surely by now you would have thought the game down there would have been in a much better posistion than it is.

Perhaps there is now a even less rugby fan base in London seeing that it is now full of more and more non interested foreigners and the 'cockneys' have moved out to towns in Essex, Kent, Surrey etc with many now just travelling in on match days to watch the football team they support.

Even London Wasps RU now play at Coventry.

Id say that Millwall FC have a traditional London community of around 100,000 odd left to draw upon, out of a population of 600,000 odd.

Surely,and again Hi great to see you here,it would be Union would attract the middle classes as they've more than likely had some exposure to the sport in university?
