What is happening to the Labour Party?

Got anything else on your mind that isn't about the Warriors? If you do, this is the place to post.

He is a very nast piece of work far beyond brick throwing
There are a few nasty pieces of work as you put it in your Conservative Party as well.

Far more Nazi bully types as well!

May didn't need a vote by the members, which was on the agenda, due to last woman standing!
What you fail to realise is you need to get the middle England vote to run government, particularly as the jocks are now SNP.
Blair recognised this and went for it. Whatever you think of Blair, he'll more than likely be the last elected PM in your or my lifetime?
Furthermore that's the reason Corbyn is a deluded old fart!!
The only thing Blair was ever interested in was boosting his own profile in order to become a Millionaire, plus of course telling porkies!

A first class con man who made the Labour Party into a pale shadow of what it used to be with the result that it is now no longer even a effective opposition in Parliament with many of its voters now voting for fringe parties like the Green Party, even UKIP or not voting at all.

For many, Blair who was a admirer of Thatcher, was a 'Trojan Horse' sent into the Labour Party to destroy it as a effective alternative party and judging by the results since, he did his job and made it easier for his friends in the Conservative Party.

Whelley,in reply to your nasty party post.
Exactly, and they will have the free reign to do as they like while limp lettuce Corbyn is running the Labour party.
Tell me Whelley, how can an mp who rebelled against the whip for the last 30 years suddenly expect folk in the PLP to follow and respect him?
Furthermore he's proposing that the woman who let that kids charity go belly up gets awarded a dame hood.
I want some of the stuff he's on!!
As for Blair, he was an opportunist politician, no different to Corbyn.

Whelley nobody else trades on being holier than thou like Corbyn though and he is anything but. It beggars belief the McDonald (Is he in charge? ) declared that both he and Jeremy will resign IF ( ) they lose the next General Election. Marvellous, we will leave after we have screwed the Labour Party and the country up so much that The Conservatives will have a free ride for 4 elections before the Labour Oarty can recover from the mess you were largely reponsible for.

That's the problem with the acolytes of a "new kind of politics" as prescribe by the gruesome twosome when the next election comes around and if the Labour Party is still together it will be a disaster, the sa,e foolish people who thought the inept Miliband would win now think this version of party will too.

Look about the world has changed in the last 5 years this fellas policies are a relic of a different time,if indeed they even have policies which I find doubtful.

When it goes belly up I trust Corbyn and the few MPs that still follow him have the grace to say they were wrong,I'll say again whoever put his name on the ballot first time round should have been expelled from the party, the country needed,in the past tense,Labour now I feel there's no place for it.

Corbyn will be in his allotment or attending a political rally about the need for more rubbish bins on the moon. At the present time Corbyn is twice as bad as the likes of Milliband on any / every poll.

Well I had a mandate from the Tufty Club!!! Err McDonald, Abbot and Livingstone all tell me I am wonderful!!!

Why am I a Conservative?

Quite simply their policies reflect my own more than any other party.

- I believe in a smaller State rather than a larger one
- I believe in Indirect taxation rather than direct taxation (i.e. I would rather have more money in my pocket and it be ME who decides how to spend it rather than someone spending it "on my behalf").
- I believe that (overall) the Conservative foreign policy better looks after the UK.

Or to put it another way, one of the many people today who think they are better than others because they have a bit of money and could not care less about those less fortunate in our society. Some called it petty snobbery!

Good job that all do not think the same way as Tories or else we would be in a bigger mess than we are now.

And to suggest that Socialism is dead is only showing now how some know little or nothing about politics as it is very much alive as shown by the election of Corbyn by ordinary people who think that the Labour Party is not what it should be today.

Love the way that it is those who vote Tory who are doing the most bleating about Corbyn being leader of the Labour Party!
It seems as though you know a lot about me, how I think, what I am...

Well either that or you are very silly and presumptuous.....

You are a Conservative because you lack empathy. This is true of all Conservatives.

The proof is in what you say above. Indirect taxation such as VAT means the poor end up with a far higher percentage of their income going towards taxation. This is an indisputable fact. YOU would rather have money in your pocket and indirect taxation be the the way we tax because YOU have money. The fact those with little would end up with even less if we went the indirect taxation route clearly doesn't matter a jot to you. As I said no empathy.

It's a similar story with the smaller state thing. YOU think you can live without a larger state. Never mind contributing direct taxes that are spent to assist those who can't. Not your problem is it? A typical man mind thyself Tory attitude.

Maggie with her "There is no such thing as society" quote would have been proud of you.
Again another one who pretends to know an awful lot about me.

Another one who seemingly knows how much is in my bank account.

Astonishing insight or the political ramblings of someone making unsubstantiated statements? Well this is the internet after all.........
