CP, if the Sun is correct and GH is in rehab it would appear he has already pled guilty. No rehab required for an error

Whether people believe Hock's actions to be foolish or sad, I think it is imperative that the Club find out the background to what happened.
As previously stated by cp, Hock has passed numerous tests over recent months. What's different now? What provoked the change? Did the "trigger" come from within the Club or from outside?
Both to help Hock, and to prevent other players falling into the same trap, I think the Club must be proactive. It would be easier for the Club to distance themselves from this, but far braver and more beneficial into the future to address the issue.

The trigger to taking coke is to have had a couple of pints and fancy some. It is not a drug that requires a major trigger to take - or any problems in your life to "turn you to it". Dont believe all the government hype surrounding what drives people to drugs - millions of people in this country are regular recreational drug users and hundreds of thousands are regular cocaine users - most of the media for a start. Very few have any affect on their life in general - its just like going out to get drunk. Its fun, but if you do it too much or to regulalr you'll have problems - just like with everything else.

Coincidentally on the news on the radio on the way home tonight it was said Britain is Europe's biggest user of cocaine with over a million regular users.

Some figures on your recreational users. According to Radio 4s PM tonight, the UK is the EUs biggest market for cocaine with over 1 million recreational users. That is a lot of Gareth Hocks!!!

I think as Mike states the impression I get is that Gaz Hock was probably having a few drinks (alcohol) and somebody got some cocaine out and several people has a snort or whatever it is they do with the damn stuff.
