Now I am sure I read a rumour that he contract was staggered over years and he was going to be on £180K a year for the later years of his contract?
Does this mean we will have 8/12ths of his salary to spend this season to replace him or bring in players - could get a good player for £120K
Yes if there is no compensation. A player gets a salary cap value and Gleesons would be £180K so if we signed another player we could pay him £15000 a month (£180K / 12). That is true if Gleeson leaves now or several months time.
What this means is if Gleeson left now and say we didn't sign another player for 3 months we would not have an extra 3 months wages to throw at him despite the fact we didn't pay it to Glesson.
Whenever he leaves if he is on £15K a month then that is what we can offer a new player each month.

I've had one as well CP. Here it is:
“Thats cause 1 of his mates is driving it, its prople like you shit stirring that cause so many people problems keep your bull shit 2 yourself!!”
All I said was that his car had gone. How is that shit stirring bullshit?
Sean Long, Hull's veteran scrum-half, watched by best friend and out-of-favour Wigan centre Martin Gleeson who Agar denied he is looking to sign, was sent off with four minutes to go for an apparent elbow-led tackle, moments after he had returned from the sin bin.
Ive got a feeling it will be Rugby Onion in the super 14's in either Aus or NZ, or maybe France on mega coin. For all his off field probs he is class and would be superb playin that shite!!
