It's amusing how the saints troll is highlighting an issue with both set of fans.
Either sides loses a couple of game - worst coach in the world.
Win a couple - best team in the world again

Last year we had Bateman playing right second row to shore up the defence along with Isa in the centres.
This year we started the season with KPP as right second row and leaked tries. Isa came in at second row and the tries stopped. Isa gets injured and we start leaking tries again. Too much of a coincidence.
IMO Isa does all the basics to a good level, especially defensively. Sadly he lacks a few pounds to be a really great forward (though he does play above his weight and always gives 100%) and lacks the speed to be a really great centre but he does a good job covering both positions.
He’s also 34. and isn’t going to get less injury prone. Just the opposite probably. It really shouldn’t be a surprise a player aged 34 has picked up an injury keeping him out for so long.
Yes we need a player to do what Bateman did but that player is not Isa. Yet again the club has found itself relying on a player who ought to be thinking of retirement. Expecting a 34 year old to complete a full season is not a very good plan.

Most teams have ex wigan players though think this is were Wigan are unfairly punished for having a great youth setup - we have to understand which ones to keep and which ones to let go the salary cap means we have to probably pay over the odds for the youngsters we develop - and the beneficiaries are other SL teams

We allowed Cats to gain far too many yards per carry due to zero line speed from the start.
It's always a sign of how competitive we will be against top teams if we are quick off the line over the first 5 sets in defence.
As a consequence our right edge were too often under pressure on our line.
Stop them getting so close and so often and the majority of the problem goes away.
