All the money for the sale of Central Park had gone long before the JJB was built, to pay off debts.
If you remember rightly we had sold up and we were homeless and heading to the Reebok before St David bought us and moved us in at the JJB.

Not true, Wigan still have over £7 million left from the same of Central Park. dave Whelan did not take a penny off the club before allowing them to sign a 99 year lease at the JJB. We are not short of money, we just have no idea how to spend the £350k interest a year.

If you believe that Ian, then god help us.
I know we are not completely skint, but £7M in the bank, you're in cloud cuckoo land my friend.
Sir Dave didn't take a penny from the sale of CP because after the debts were paid, there wasn't a penny left.

But if Big Dave & Little Mo join forces to create a joint Wigan football / rugby club ( as rumoured ); we can say goodbye to the mythical £7m because it'll be used to pay the Latics debts !!!

Maybe a protest is needed.
Suggestions:-
1) At our next home game, turn up but don't go into the ground for the whole duration of the match. Just stand outside the turnstiles.
2) Boycott our next away match.
3) Throw our season tickets in the Dougie.
Okay, nobody showed interest in my earlier ideas; so here is one that you will not like but it might work !
If the Saints beat us on Friday; let's not protest at our home game on Easter Monday because it will distract the team from beating the Quins. Better still lets go to the Latics Vs Villa game on the Tuesday night ( in the West Stand ) and protest there. Lindsay will be there and he'll be well embarassed; and it should get good national press and media exposure. Brilliant !!!!!
