The only people who deserve real praise from our performance on saturday are barrett, feka and richards.
Fielden, Calderwood and Fletcher have done pretty much naff all, the majority of the season.
Hock gives away ridiculous penalties usually within kicking distance for the other team.
Millard makes stupid decisions and thinks hes captain, when hes not, hes past his best. Useless at best.
Ashton is just plain lazy in defence.
But no lets pick on Lockers, just because Saints (the current world champions with, more or less a full team of first choice internationals) beat us. Every time they dropped the ball it bounced in their favour, they have the rub of the green at the moment and the majority of our team have no idea. I think they would all admit they need to play better, but Lockers isnt responsible for other players form.

lets get Loughlin out of this club, he is a liability,

why o why is he still captaining and playing for us, you count how crucial his missed tackles where 2 nite

he is bloody useless
On that basis of when we lose you seem to have a go at Lockers. should we not get rid of every player who had a bad game last night.

Ashton - DV - Bailey - Fielden - Higham - Hock - Fletcher.

Change the tune your getting very boring now. As when we beat the likes of Leeds, Wakey, Salford, Quins he was one of the better players.

Or do you have selective memory or are you in love with him but he turned you down. As you are so obsessed its a joke.

Has he not? So when he's talking to them behind the sticks he's not leading them. When he leads by EXAMPLE in attack and defence, making some superb tackles and scoring some great tries this is not leading them? He's not a talker, Nobbys said this before, however he can lay the platform. He cant control other players knocking on, missing tackles or giving the ball away.
He had a bad game, so did the majority of them.

:) I disagree with OAM but he is entitled to his view albeit I think mine is more objective and his is subjective.

Mrs Carney, might be me BUT I think Calderwood has looked dangerous in the last couple of matches. I would possibly like him to just go down the wing once in a while rather than step inside. Mind you if he got tackled in touch people would daresay complain.

If there is real fault with both Loughlin and Hock it is that they have been been put up there to be shot at. Neither has the experience yet to be considered as great or outstanding. All our past great forwards only really matured to their best years between 26-30.They both in my view have the potential to become great but in many aspects of their performance are nowhere near yet. Some of the benefits of the mature O/S players should be to allow our home grown talant to mature without having the pressure of captaincy etc :o

The other problem with people continually having a go at lockers re the captaincy is in comparison to our resent captains he has not had the luxury of being brought in to a good team and developing as both player and captain .
Edwards was given the captaincy at a young age but first team wise had played more first team rugby and the team he had was a lot better than the one lockers is in charge of ,that team had other great leaders in it Grgory Hanley the list goes on and yet he lost that position only to take over again as a more experienced player but the team he took over was again in a different league to the one Lockers has .
The same could be leveled at Faz he had a much better team around him and more games under his belt and not everyone thought he was a great captain a lot of fans moaned at his leadership and with the teams at his disposal was he really that successful??
The team we had at the start of last year do you think we would have won many more games with the other captains in place or is it we are just average?
