He'd have been sore getting up this morning - and for several days to come.

If it was a football player he would have dived into the barrier on purpose

Thought that les cats were unwise to let Murphy play on; regardless of him wanting to - RL players are a tough bunch for the most part. Had Murphy damaged his neck and not realised he could have been seriously hurt in a later tackle. After an incident like that he should have been substituted and had a thorough examination

I don't quite know about a thorough examination but probably just the light in his eyes checking his eyesight may have been enough.
Good refereeing by Ganson by saying, "just see he's all right, we won't restart".

That's what I thought also. There's not many teams (that don't share their ground with a rugby union club) that have an in-goal as big as 11 metres.
I thought it was good how Ganson said "we're not starting play until we know he's alright." He does have a heart afterall, lol.
He hasn't got a heart, he just didn't want Wigan to gain advantage playing against 12 men!
If it was a Wigan player he would have got the game started as quick as possible

He's learnt from experience that he can't get away with some of his bad decisions when on sky. Cummings might ignore it, but Eddie and Stevo won't!

Well that will be the distance between the try line and the dead ball line. There is nothing to stop the ground having space behind the dead ball line which is what I meant by being a short ground. Don't grounds like Odsal have a lot more space between the dead ball line and the stand than the JJB?
