Spot on Fraggle.

Considering that Ashton has never kicked before in his life (I don't think) he did ok last night.

He kicked one from more or less on the touch line didn't he?

He only just missed with his failed attempts. Lets put it this way, we have seen a lot worse kicking than Ashton produced last night.
Sure have. I've still not seen one as bad in a SL game as Gary Connolly's famous worm-burner at Central Park (I think it was at CP anyway, it was all quite a long time ago now...)

HAS CA ever kicked before in his life? Someone said he had done, but I disagreed.

Do you know Fraggle?

I know me very well...

Um, he's probably kicked for the academy, it's very rare to have a complete non-kicker take the honours at SL level. I would have expected Leuluai, or more likely Lockers to have a go before a complete novice. Doesn't DV kick occasionally as well? We know that Trent doesn't, he's never scored a place kick in his professional career despite being a dab hand at the drop-goals!

if he had a decent record I'm sure that Nobby would've said your doing the kicking. Plus at the start of the season he wasnt one of the candidates to be goalkicker. If i remember correctly the 3 candidates for goalkicking were richars, ashton and leuluai!

I'd have thought that leulei would have taken over the goal kicking on friday as didn't used to be quins regular goalkicker last season? thought ashton did well though as none of the kick where as easy (bar one) they where all from the touchline or there abouts

I thought Lockers would've taken over the kicking dutoes for the game because i think i read somewhere that he practices in training inn case Richards couldn't play.
